Elite Technical Training
Obsessive focus on the first touch and the thousand after it. Possession-first, decision-rich reps that carry into real matches.
Central Oregon · Est. 2026
Premium, La Masia–inspired youth soccer. Elite technical training, real character, and a family-first culture — for players ages 6–18.
Developing better players. Building better people.
The Method
We train the way the great academies do — patient, technical, and thoughtful — and we build the person alongside the player.
Obsessive focus on the first touch and the thousand after it. Possession-first, decision-rich reps that carry into real matches.
Discipline, accountability, and how to lead — the lessons that outlast the season and shape the whole athlete.
Parents aren't on the outside looking in — you're part of the club. Every player belongs here from day one.
Age-appropriate progression and a real pathway. We develop players over years, not for a single trophy.
The Story
Obsidian started with a coach and a conviction: the best players aren't just coached, they're built — technically, mentally, and in character.
After years developing players in Georgia, Director of Coaching Troy Johnson brought that standard west to Central Oregon. Obsidian is volcanic glass forged in the Cascades — sharp, rare, and made under pressure. That's what we want for every player who walks in.
Based in Redmond and proudly serving families across Bend, Sisters, and the wider high desert.
Director of Coaching
Troy has spent [X years] developing youth players, and he's bringing that standard to Central Oregon.
[Credentials & licenses — confirm: coaching badges, playing history, teams developed.]
His philosophy is simple: coach the craft, build the character, and treat every family like part of the club.
